A famous event in Rajasthan which is largely joined by the cattle traders who sell their cattle in large numbers , this is the big time for other tradesmen too who trade here with varieties of good spices. Pushkar Camel fair is also visited by millions of local and foreign tourists who are so much fascinated by the increasing popularity of this largest cattle fair or camel fair in Asia. The surprising fact about this cattle fair is that here every year around 50,000 camel are being sold. Pushkar Camel Fair can be called as the biggest Cattle fair of Asia. It is organised every year between months Nov to Dec on the Karthik Purnima (Lunar month in Hindu calendar).
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi in the late evening and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast full day city tour visiting Red fort, India Gate, National Museum and Qutub Minar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi / Jaipur
After breakfast, drive for Jaipur. ( 260 kms. 5 hrs. drive ) Reach Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Evening city tour visiting City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur / Pushkar
After late breakfast, drive down to Pushkar, ( 145 kms. 3 hrs. drive ) the venue for the famous "Pushkar Festival". Reach Pushkar and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Tent. Day 05: Pushkar
After breakfast, day at Pushkar Mela. Spend the day walking through the traditional decorated fair ground and view various activities, like - dance, camel races and many more. Overnight at Tent.
Day 06: Pushkar / Jaipur
Early morning visit bathing ghats of Pushkar, where thousands of pilgrims take holy bath. Return back to Hotel / Tent for breakfast. Evening drive to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur / Delhi
After breakfast, trip to Amer Fort (enjoy ride on Elephant's back up to the Fort). Afterwards, drive back to Delhi for journey to onward destination.
